I just got a 89 GT and I'm getting ready to do a 5 lug conversion. I have the rear covered, but my question is on the front.

I have a set of 96 front spindles. If I run those spindles and use a 3/8 spacer in the rear with 8" wide wheels, would that line up the wheels pretty close.

Thanks

Depends on what conversion you do out back and what 8" wide wheels you are using? Stock 5-lug axles I'm assuming? 3/8" spacer would work. if you really want it flush, you may need up to 3/4" spacers. All going to depend on your particular wheel's offset and BS specs

Up front, you should really use the 94-95 spindles instead.
