i am lloking at doing a new rear, i found a housing form either a 90's large car of 85 bronco. I am guessing that this would be worth the investment. they also have axles for the 85 bronco for $35. I know both would need to be shortened to fit a 67, just wondering if it is worth it, want are the general costs of shortening them.
9" housing for $35 a good deal?

I think it was 82 when ford quit using 9" rears in trucks, then they went to the 8.8 and 7.5 rears. Regardless, a 9" housing is about as versatile as they come. I wouldn't get the axles, they wouldn't be useful once the housing is narrowed. I wouldn't give more than $50 or so for a bare housing.
