im currently running a Saleen Series 2 supercharger on my 2000 GT it has a saleen intercooler, 30# motorcraft fuel injectors, motorcraft fuel rails, high flow water pump, upgraded fuel map, all on a stock bottom end...would it be safe to run 9 or 10 PSI right now i am only running 6??

yes it is safe to run that. Don't go over 10 though unless you need an excuse to upgrade the internals.
There's an article in MM&FF from a couple of months ago where some guy is running 15 psi on stock internals, however his car is for race only and he has to fix parts fairly often.

I don't think the intercooler from Saleen is efficient enough to prevent detonation at that PSI. You might end up blowing your motor from detonation.

Yes the motor can handle 9 or more psi but detonation will be your enemy, not the psi. At 9 psi, my intake temp is around 145 degrees so there is much less chance of detonation. That is much lower than my 6 psi Saleen unit at full boost.

KB swap with upgraded heat exchanger would be the way to go for more boost , you should get about 30 HP out of long tubes , might wanna look into that and maybe see if someone makes a slightly larger pulley , like maybe a 7 psi for it . wouldnt do 9 for sure though , too much heat = BOOM

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Series II is a roots type blower and the Series IV is a twin screw. Is there a way to test the effectiveness of your intercooler, since the roots type tends to generate more heat?
