9" rearend swap for 91 gt

No other Fords will interchange directly.

Call Moser Engineering (or any other axle specialst) and order the housing/axle package from them and add the parts (3rd member and brakes) from a donor 9" you can get locally.

Oh and you will need a different (shorter I believe) drive shaft too.

I don't have to have a direct boltup. I was looking for one that is the same width and I can fab the brackets. I am going with an alum driveshaft also.

I contacted Moser once about narrowing and adding brackets to my supplied housing in addtion to making a pair of axles and they flattly told me they would not do that and I would have to buy a complete axle housing from them.
 
You will need to have the axle tubes shortened to make that fit. I don't know of any direct swaps, but I think that the 66 9 inch rears are a closer fit cause a lot of guys swap an 8.8 into those. Problem is the 66 9 inchers are so expensive you are better off with a currie or something because they only came on K code mustangs.
