I have a 90 lx coupe, This car has been converted to a carb. set up.(just for info purposes) I have no fuel pump action at all, Unless, I wire the fuel pump direct, the way I did that is I picked up a wire from the relay harness and wired it to a 12 volt source with the key. then the pump runs constantly and the pressure cannot be controlled. I replaced two relays checked the inirtia switch, removed the pump from the tank and it runs fine outside the tank. The only way I can get the car to run is with a direct 12v key source wired direct to the pump. I cannot run this car with the pump wired direct and extremely high pressure. The pump runs wild and way beyond the priming stage, it just keeps going. Can anyone help me with this??????? Thank you.
