Ok. I was a tad unprepared for the ridiculous cost of new seatbelts, so I'm going scrounging.

There's a Pull-A-Part just down the road from my house, and I'm hoping I can snag some black seatbelts from there. Does anyone know of ANY other ford models that may have come with the same style of seatbelts as the 91-93s? It'll only be once in a blue moon that a black interior mustang finds its way to the yard. I can do without the rears for now, I really just need the fronts.

Thanks!

Eric

SN95 belts I beleive will work.

I had a thread comparing the mounting tabs and they were similar. Downside is the buckle side bolts to the seat I beleive. I'll need to check this.

I bought a set of 1994-1995 black seatbelts off ebay for cheap...like $20 and then discovered they wouldn't bolt into my '88. I forget if they bolted to the seat or not though.

(I'd sell them, but i disassembled them to tinker and not confident I put them back together right...so i don't want to sell questionable belts)

Do you know if the male end of the SN95 belt will lock into the female end of the '93? If so, I'd just do that...much easier! And on that note, would the rears work too? (I know my foxes, but I"m clueless after '93).

I don't think it will. I think the SN95 male end is a little skinnier. I can check this weekend though

No clue about the rears. My '88 has lap belts...so i never looked into shoulder belt setups

The problem is the SN95 rear belts are mounted on the actual metal quarter panels, not on the rear shelf or the wheel wells like the Fox cars. I was looking into trying to put them in my car, but it would require welding mounting points to the sides of the car.

As for the fronts, I think they went to the seat mounted belts in 99 or so. Might have been earlier, but I know it was on the 02-04 seats.
