The home mades are cheaper and work better, but until I do the heads I'm not worried about it that much, I have the MAC right now.

alot of people throw on the k&n filter with there homemades?

any loses from doing homemade then buying.. for instance, a mac intake or any other?

i bought mine from ebay. they are about $35. they are so light and tight. i even install a nitrous nozzle in it nad still running cool without leaks.

A few quick questions for you home-made CAI guys.
-What kind of adapter did you use to attach the air filter to the flanged MAF?
-What did you do with the hose that goes from the air inlet to the oil fill tube on the valve cover?

get the procarparts, they're more expensive than I paid several months ago, but still hella cheap! I paid $43 shipped, now they're like $40 w/o shipping... just as good as MAC, just not $160
