Alright here is is. I now have an EFI Source 86-93 MS3 Gold Box with the Microsquirt to run the AODE.

Build Details:
1995 Mustang
AODE
GT40p Heads
Anderson B-31 Cam 218/228 109ICL 112LSA
Explorer Intake
65mm TB, SN95 MAF, Stock Airbox, K&N Filter
BBK Shorties
VRS Catted X
Ford BB302 30lb Injectors
Carter 255lph Fuel Pump

Electronics:
EFI Source 86-93 MS3 Gold Box
EFI Source Gold Box I/O Expander (Microsquirt with custom connector to fit in the gold box)
14point7 Spartan2 Wideband

Goals:
1. Get the wiring squared away.
2. Get the car started and tuned via Speed Density
3. Work in MAF Correction.
4. Nitrous

Steve, @a91what has been a great help thus far getting my many questions answered. I look forward to working with him to make this car a success.

Keith over at 64bit has successfully completed this setup on his 1994 Cobra. I hope I can follow in his steps and get this thing working. Major props to him for putting out the information on how to get the AODE/4R70w working with the Microsquirt. https://www.facebook.com/64bittuning/ . In order to wire in the new GM style MAP sensor I wanted to try and use the existing EGR Valve wiring and plug. I exhausted my search for the correct male plug to interface with the female EGR electrical connector on the factory harness. I think I found a solution that will work.

I'm going to use the plug from a Standard SG24 Oxygen Sensor. I plan to cut the sensor off and splice it to my MAP harness.

Okay I need some help with the wiring:

Here is where I'm currently at with my wiring plan. Please let me know if you see any issues and I also have some questions:

1. How to control the A/C? How should it be wired.

2. For the High and Low fan control do I have that wired correctly?

3. Bond all grounds together, Separate power grounds from sensor grounds, Run a new ground from the engine or battery?

4. Transmission wiring, I'm missing some of the harness connection locations. Anyone know the pin locations or do I need to run a supplemental harness?

1. Here's your A/C control.

AC Issues (No power to compressor)

Hello Fellow Corralers, I have the Megasquirt PNP Gen2 for my 93 Mustang The issue I'm running into is the air conditioning system. I am not getting power to my compressor unit. I've reviewed schematics/wiring diagrams and I've been able to trace it down to A/C Wide Open Throttle unit (btw...

2. Can't tell you about the e-fan. I use a separate PWM controller (DCC).

3. Location doesn't matter. Ford used the chassis at numerous locations. All have a green screw.

4. I have a T5 manual transmission.

AC cycle switch on pin 10 is a 12v+ input signal. I used the nitrous input for this. The wot relay needs a ground trigger, an unused inj output will do just fine. You will want to find the relay and swap pin 87a to 87. This way the MS3 can turn the compressor on instead of off, this is how i did mine.

I like to take the grounds to a common wire that travels back to the battery for the lowest ground offset value.

Okay I changed the spreadsheet to reflect the following:

-AC Cut will be on Spark Output I, swap relay pin 87a to 87. (Where is this relay located? I noticed a relay setup on the fan motor that is sealed, is this it?)
-ACCS will be on FLEX pin 8.
-Will run a new ground straight to the battery.

I will have to confirm but is the flex capable of a 12v+ input signal?
I am not sure where that relay is on your car, on the 87-93 it is on the passenger side under the MAF

The Fans in the 94/95 cars are controlled by the CCRM box. I am trying to figure out how the Microsquirt SN95 kits are controlling the fans and then replicate that.

Found this over on DIYAutotune. It is talking about MS2 but would this work for the MS3 and could you advise what the wiring would look like for this?

"If you have an MS2, you can use the two stepper IAC outputs to drive the relays – just wire the two IAC1 wires across the coil of the low speed fan relay, and the IAC2 wires across the coil of the high speed fan relay. The ECU did not control the fans on ’93 and earlier models."

That's because the fans on ’93 and earlier models are not e-fans.

Looks like high and low speed will turn on with a ground trigger from the ecu. all your digital outputs will do this

low speed to pin55
high speed on pin32

The rest will be done in the software, again any of the ign or injector outputs are capable of this along with many others. If needed I can give you exact pins to use on the ecu.

Nope..... like I said only 12v input is nitrous in. Now you could use a relay and have the 12v on pin 10 trigger it. Then use pins 30 and 87 to pull flex or launch to ground.

Relay 86 to EEC ACCS 10
Relay 30 to ground
Relay 85 to ground
Relay 87 to MS3 Flex In

Do I need a diode in here to isolate?

you do not, however a diode is never a bad idea.

1N4001 will do fine for isolation.

You should also be placing a freewheeling diode on any inductive loads, like across the idle valve.
