I don't think so. 512 flywheel hp maybe. The thing about the Powerdyne is it doesn't flow that much volume. Since volume and pressure are inversly related you will get less boost with better flowing heads.

You didn't say which Trick Flow heads. My Powerdyne has a 9psi blower pulley and a overdrive crank pulley and a Power pipe type enlarged inake. On a stock engine the Powerdyne would probably deliver 10+ psi. But, with my Twisted Wedge heads mine would only deliver 7psi. I then switched to Canfield heads and rarely saw 6psi.

I would ask the seller what kind of boost # he sees at peak rpm. If that Powerdyne is able to produce 8+ psi in front of ported Trick Flow Twisted Wedge or Street Heat heads then it probably will make 512 at the wheels. If he sees 5-6psi (which is what I think he would see) then 512 rwhp is doubtful.

Also, 512 rwhp takes fuel. What kind of fuel system is it running? With the stock lines and rails that would be pushing it and probably not very safe.

As everyone else has said it doesn't seem reasonable. I make 526RWHP with a 347 stroker and around 10# boost .

If the displacement is still 302, then it is not likely. Especially with the low boost. The CR will be a little more boost friendly. Ask him at what RPM he peaked at.

i can't see a cobra intake putting down 500 rwhp. my mods are in my sig and i'm only putting down 450 to the wheels. if you subtract 20% from the drivetrain, you get ~410 to the wheels which sounds alot more like what it could have.

We need a little more information still. What size injectors/fuel system? The cobra intake I do not think will give you 500 rwhp unless it is fully ported. I do not see why port TW heads with stock intake unless its ported itself. If you are very interested and are going to buy the car because of it supposed hp get a dyno sheet.

ProKiller,
How much boost are you running on your setup?? Did you put a conservative tune on that?? I am curious because I am building a 331 with s-trim looking for comparisons in power.

i'm seeing like 11#s tops. It's normal to see around 8-9. it's the stock vortech pulley setup, nothing fancy. the power pipe helps. as far as the tune, its not a mild tune, but it's not balls to the walls either. i'm sure i could tweak it more and get more hp out of it.

The intake is port matched to the heads, not honed out just port matched. If I hoined it I could probably make close to 575 - 600 ?? My son makes 590rwhp with a Cobra Intake, and a Dart block.
