Got a question for you guys, I have a offer for a 94 Cobra GT?? It has 45,045 miles, completely stock, except somehow rated at 280 hp. And the offer is for 7,500, keep in mind it is through a dealership, with a 1 year warranty, and financed, Kinda going through a rough time, after some finance problems. Do you guys think its worth it?

If theyre calling it a Cobra GT and saying its rated at 280 hp, Id be questioning that. Is it a legitimate Cobra with documentation or a GT with some work done to it?

Ask to see the VIN if the 8th number is not a D then its not a Cobra

Sorry about the best i can do for the pics, supposedly it has either S or R hood and wheels. Not sure exactly what that means but hopefully good. I do know its better than regular, but not sure the difference between the two. Thanks for the help.

That would be a Cobra R hood and as stated its not a dual over head cam that came in the 96-98 Cobra in that body style. It has a Push Rod 5.0 Single cam.

How much do they want for it? can you pust the full ad for it

looks to be a nice car with very low miles on it. i hope your not trying to finance it cause no bank will finance a car that old. i would recommend a credit card or signature loan if you dont have the cash in the bank.

I financed my 95 GT for 30 months with a low monthly payment. Six more months to go. Most banks wont touch a car that old, but there are some lenders out there that arent afraid. I had to get a service plan with the car but thats a good idea regardless. Id rather continue to build up my credit and I hate parting with large sums of cash.

Test drive it and if it starts up ok, no noise after shutoff, accelerates ok, and basically seems solid overall.....TAKE IT!!! Check the lights, radio, A/C, and other electrical stuff.....if all works fine, you've got a good deal.

I'd be all over that, if it were in my area and I needed a car.

Interior looks really good. Modifications seem nonexistent (except hood).

Replace the headlights (all four) and get a good buff job done on the car and it would look nearly new I'd bet.

Good luck!
