all right guys heres the deal im trying to find out just how much your tps sensor controls an auot trani. my problem is my trani will shift down even when my foot is not on the gas pedal, sometimes it does it and others it wont. Also shifts are super slow as a matter of fact my engine will bog before it shifts, their that slow. my tps is a little wacky i cant get the voltage to go below 1.07 instead of the recommended .98 .99. I'd like to replace it but its 50 bucks and id have to splice the wires of 93 tps onto my 94 b/c i have a fox body throttle body on my car so i cant just try it and bring it back
any suggestions why the trani might be doing this and if the tps could be the problem?
