I''ll try to describe the problem as best i can. While i was driving my clock, radio, mph gauge, door locks, overhead lamp and both odometers stopped working. I believe everything else is still working fine including headlights, dashboard lights, windows, etc. Later on in the day my door locks started working again but they will only lock and not unlock my doors. Also whenever i do lock my doors with my door lock button my parking lights and dashboard lights will light up. I have no idea where to even begin on this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It sounds to me that the door locks are the cause of your problems. Find the power feed to them and disconnect it and see if your other problems continue.

i dont think your door lock problem and your light/odometer problem are related...they are controlled by diffrent fuses. unless the problem is before the fuse panel...bad ground maybe or some sort of bad connection
check the fuses, your battery connections and your fuse panel connection

I have a shop manual at home with the elec. schematics. I'll check it when I get home later and see if I can see where it might be coming from

You have to check the grounds up by the upper radiator support. Remove those little green screws and scrape away all the garbage. I even added new ring terminals. TRUST ME ON THIS!

Ok so i checked it out and this is what i found. Fuse #4 was blown and i replaced it. Fuse #8 was blown also but everytime i replace it it blows right away.

In my owners manual it says fuse #8 description is Chime for keys in ignition, Courtesy lamps, Engine compartment lamp, glove compartment lamp, power mirrors, radio, instrument cluster, clock, trunk lamp and anti-theft.

I dont see any loose wires however i did not start taking apart my car to visually show all the wires. I am only talking about the wires that are easily visible.

I'm not really sure what to do next. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It looks like you have a short to ground somewhere after the fuse. It sucks because the #8 fuse controls a lot of accessories. If you have an aftermarket head unit, check the power wire to it and make sure it's not grounding anywhere. I can't think why the door locks would make the parking lights go on, because they're on a different circuit. Do they stay on as long as you hold the button to lock the doors? I'll look at the schematics a little bit more and see if I can think of something. I know how much of a pain in the butt electrical problems can be. Also, do you have keyless entry? I thought Cobras came standard with it, but I wasn't sure.
