Hey guys new here, not to the cars but , anyway i just installed my ford racing 65mm tb and when i get above about 5000 and shift, it wants to slighlty backfire Pretty stock, full exhaust, turndowns, spec clutch, no smog, 3.55's, msd, and a cai . I bumped up the timing to about 12-13* that helpled a little with the harsh shifts but not with the high rpm shifts any ideas? thanks

Its not the throttle body, its the removal of the smog equipment. Unless you delete it in the computer, removing the equipment but not removing it in the ECU will fubar your timing tables.
