Another stupid suggestion...

Have to checked to see if your wires/coil/cap are arcing at all? A very bad arc can cause problems like your experiencing...

That is why I replaced the coil in the first place. I could see it arcing at night from the coil to the engine block. Changed the coil, ran a lot better but still bucking when hot, and not arcing.

Hall effect sensor in the distributor?

Maybe heatsoak is making it malfunction.

Okay, did you try any of the mechanical tests I suggested?

Going through the mechanical fixes, pretty much done them all and I'm more convinced than ever I have a ground problem in the computer. I'm pulling the computer out tonight and running some checks on it or replacing it entirely.

problem solved: dirty fuel injectors fixed with a can of BG's 44K. If you haven't tried this stuff it is incredible. It took about three miles for it to go from not able to maintain 35 MPH to running like it was brand new. I am sooooo happy!
