So I was bleeding the hydraulic lines for the convertible system because I had some air in the lines.

As I go to raise the roof everything is working fine but I hear this loud snap. I look over to the passenger side and a piece of the frame is dangling down.

The piece that is broken is located along the rearward portion of the convertible top frame right above the quarter window glass. It's broken just near the bottom portion of the quarter window where it meets the body.

Is there anyway to fix just this piece or do I have to buy a whole new frame? Also where can I even find a part like this?

If you need more of a description or an idea of what happened I can take a picture and post it.

you can weld it. my 91 has that whole part behind the window welded together. It doesnt fit perfectly when closing the top but it works.
