My friend is having a problem with the MSD Digital Window Switch on his 97 Cobra. He is putting his NX Kit on it and trying to get this done. When tapping into the pink or purple wire on the driver side coil pack the window switch will come on but the rpms will only match the tach for a second and then it goes to zero randomly, no matter what setting you have the window switch on. We had mostly been trying it on setting 2. When you rev it the window switch doesnt follow the rpms.
He tried one of the wires behind the cluster that had been mentioned in some threads and it didnt work either, it killed the tach and the window switch when he tried it. He doesnt have a tach adapter as supposedly it isnt needed with this window switch on this car.
