97 Cobra Shocks/Springs on a 88 LX Mustang

My cousin is throwing away his shocks/springs from his 1997 Cobra and I didn't think so, but wondered if they would work on my Fox Body?

They should fit, but there's probably no real performance gain with them.

Forget about the struts. It is a common mod for SN95 guys to use 87-93 struts because they are shorter.

Thanks, mine are shot and his only have 40,000 miles on them i figured for free i would slap them on.
