I got some '97 spindles, I was just curious if I could use them on my car, as opposed to the 2001's I had found and asked about here on the forums

Will they fit my car? If not what exactly is needed to make them fit?

If they don't fit I will just put them on my g/f's '94 (with PBR brakes) and use her spindles

Damn, I really don't feel like tearing apart 2 cars....I was just reading this page and this guy has a '90 that he put 96+ spindles on, he makes no mention of them not fitting, he has aftermarket tierod ends but doesn't say they are needed for these certain spindles.....

All I can really hope for now, is that the '97 spindles will fit the '94, so i can use the '94 spindles....i still don't understand what the differences are....

i went throught that site like a lice comb, and i can't find anything on fitment/install notes on putting 96+ spindles on a 87-93 Mustang, or anywhere else, i even searched the forums, i'm getting frustrated, i know people have done this, but how!

Why wouldn't they fit the same?? I'm assuming with the wider track width and your 87 you'll have tire rub issues. Otherwise i see no problems with them bolting up...but i'm not the brake expert. ;)
