98 gt engine swap

Hey everyone I own a 98 mustang gt (auto). The time has come to either rebuild my current 4.6l or swap it with a crate engine. The one I was interested in was a 302ci- 345hp crate ford engine. I’m not too familiar with these types of engines and wanted to know the compatibility issues I would encounter before I make the buy. Thanks.

Easier to swap in a build 4.6L modular motor than swap in a 5.0


Seriously, do a PI swap with the intake and heads, toss in some aftermarket camshafts, a plenum, 75mm TB and exhaust and get a custom tune and you can have 300-325HP easy out of the 4.6l. Have some work done to the heads or buy aftermarket PI heads and there is your 350HP. Toss a blower on it and now we are talking 400+ HP

Not dissing the 5.0...but 5.0 swaps into mod motors tend to get complex. Forget about getting an inspection sticker either if you need to pass emmissons
