I took my car to the shop air conditioning wasn't working going to get it recharged. After a day of trying to figure it out I have to take it back they said my compressor wasn't grounded and they haven't figured out why
It's hard to say. There isn't anything I've heard that would be a likely cause. Maybe the harness is bad where it connects to the coil. The compressor body itself is grounded by the mounts. So if it isn't grounded then there is a ground to the chassis that is bad and you'd have more issues.
