Its gonna be too much of pain in the ass to make one of those motors work. Easyest swap you can do is put 99 - 01 Cobra engine.

Agreed. Either that or go for a lightly used 4.6L 2v and get a Kenny Bell S/C. It will seem just like a big block.

i understand the 429 and the 460 but i dont think it would be hard at all for the 351 if i was converting to carb . i am in school for auto tech and we are gana be starting engine rebuilding within the next 8 months and ive been thinking of going to the junk yard and pulling a block , getting it cleaned and bored 30 over and just buying a rebuild kit for about 1500-2000 i can have a new 358 complete for the money i dont see any better way for powerbut like i said anyway if anyo0ne knows a site that explains any of this lmk

thanks

If you got a 94-95 with 5.0 then it will be easyer to swap in 351. All your elctronics wont work right with 351 with sohc wiring harness. Dont forget you need to change k member, tranmission etc...

351 has always sounded like fun in my car, but then again sounds like more trouble then my wallet can handle.

The T45 has an integrel bellhousing for Modular engines. The 302/351W/351C bellhousing bolt pattern is different. As is the 351M/400M/429/460 bell housing family......they are also different from the Modular cars.

A swap will most likely make it no longer street legal. Emissions complience issues.

I would do a PI swap/rebuild for the money you talk about ($2000) will get a nice running engine.
