Hey all,

Is it just me or is the digital odometer in the 99-00's slightly blue, and in the 01-04's more greenish?

If so, how would one go about changing the 99-00's to look more like the 01-04's? (green just like the rest of the cluster).

Can anybody with a 99-00 post a pic, and anybody with a 01-04 post one for comparison?

Ignore the other crap, but the odometer is stock and untouched

See, I like the greenish tint to the Odometer. I'm swapping a 99 4.6 on my car and unfortunately i'll have to use the 99 cluster, which has the bluish odometer, looks kinda weird

Just to add, the color is not only different on the odometer, but on mostly all lit surfaces of the dashboard.

The 99-00 are more closer to a blue color on the speedo numbers, HVAC controls and stereo controls as well.

The same rule applies to the 01-04, but they are more greenish in color.

Personally, I'm biased with the 99-00 blue color, but I have white faced indiglos which glow the same blue as the rest of the dashboard controls...so at least they match.

Interesting, I've never noticed the HVAC and Stock Deck being bluish too. I guess I'll see it once my swap is done and the new cluster is in the car, compared to the rest of the dash being 01+ (green).
