99 cobra i want a prochager?

99 cobras have more compreesiom than 2V motors .how much boost can i run wityh stock interals, my car has those damm mac l/t/ my have to go into my eng sould i get dished pistons our stay with flat tops. dished pistons will give me less comp. it will be dogger before the boost comes on right???tf/tops still have more comp.and will not by as doggy?? right or wrong what pistons to go with also changing those weak rods ..give me some advise please!!thanks alot ,i hate buying parts twice!!

6-8lbs safely on stock internals some go as high as 10lbs of boost. The tune is the key to survival. If you put internals in it, I'd say 9:1 compression get good pistons,rings, and rods, ARP bolts, etc...... Lots of money though, can save alot by doing labor yourself if you're able. I want one on mine but will be doing in steps as money allows me too. Prbably pull the motor out at the end of 2004 and put internals in it, then save up for a blower by spring/summer 2005
