Got my fuel pump and swapped it out. The car runs amazing now, and it fixed my fuel gauge as well. I found out it seems like some hillbilly thought he was gonna fix it by soldering the float back together and it was just hanging on the sending unit by one wire. As you can see it was really rigged together. Anyway I was able to make it out to my local cruise in and was able to hang with some other cool mustang people

Okay so I was letting the car run today for just a minute when I got out, and when I came back to the car I heard a light tapping sound and at first I thought lifters but when I got in and pressed the clutch it went away?? Only when the clutch is out and in neutral no noise when it's pressed or while driving idk what this could be

Input shaft bearing? I would think you'd hear it under load as well though.

Did you do the Adjustable Quadrant and new factory cable so you can adjust it?

Nope, just did clutch and TOB while the transmission was out

I definitely don't hear anything else it's only while sitting still. I just don't even want to talk to the guy that did the trans because I mentioned that sometimes 5th doesn't seem as solid going in or out and I know he did all new forks and the cluster gear and main shaft and he said it was probably because the flywheel didn't get resurfaced so it's my fault. I'll not be back to his shop for sure

Yeah idk it may have something to do with the adjustment cause when I was cruising in fifth gear on my way home I felt the peddle vibrating some so I pulled up on it and it stopped so idk I've never messed with the quadrant or anything

I think its time for a timing chain kit. I noticed the other morning when i cranked the car in the garage i could hear some tapping and when i went around to the front of the car, it sounded exactly like my 03 GT did back before we did it. So my list is growing slowly. Timing kit, new intake, gears, headlights, taillights, and hopefully by this time next year a procharger kit.

So things have been happening, I found a used motor for my car for a cheap price like 100 dollars cheap. Ive always wanted to build a motor to go with boost so i think that will start very soon:)

If you Google it you will see what is involved in the process, but usually out the top is easier for the backyard mechanic.

Well i mean i dont know what you consider backyard lol, I do this stuff on the side (for now, hopefully it'll turn into a full time business) ;) but i have just never pulled a mod motor. I've decided that out the bottom would be best for me since i have a lift it should be pretty simple

Okay so I started tearing down the car this weekend didn’t get very far. Removed the radiator and hoses pretty much all the coolant stuff and pulled the bumper noticed that whoever put this bumper on didn’t prep it correctly at all and the paint had been peeling for awhile anyway I noticed a big spot of clear that had bubbled up and was gone so I pulled the bumper and hopefully I’ll get it painted in a few weeks, my wedding is coming up so I’m real busy there but once that’s done and I’m back from the honeymoon I’ll be working on the car a lot more so keep on the look out for new updates and sorry for the pictures being sideways still haven’t figured it out
