99+ smoked headlight

looking for pics for 99+ smoked headlights with the clear corners, preferably on a black car. Also, what is the best source to get these, i've seen some for $200 a pair to $400 a pair, are the cheaper sets typically crap?? is it worth spending the bigger $ for improved quality, perhaps the more expensive ones are sealed better and better over light quality

I was told the smoked appearance was due to the reflectors being painted black on newer stangs.
