A/C condenser for heater core?

Hey guys, my heater core blew up again and it's the 4th time i'm replacen it... Although till i get a chance to i was wondering if i could hook the heater hoses up to the old A/C condenser and use that as the heater core. At least temp till i get a chance to get another core and the new restrictor kit. Let me know the pro's or con's or if it's even possible to do so! Thx again guys!

Where are you buying them from?
Buy one from Ford,and not the parts store junk.

Don`t think it`s possible to use the AC evaporator core as a heater core.There`s going to be some refrigerant oil inside it anyways.

Not to mention that the core is more than likely where the refridgerant leaked from.

I had pulled my a/c out a while ago but never took the time to ripout the core in the dash... Dunno i might give it a shot lol.. Least a temp solution who knows it may even work... least till i can get a replacement in etc...

I wouldn't do it. Just bypass it all together and do without heat until you can fix it.
