A/C problems please help!!!

Hey guys im new to the forum but already addicted! I am hoping someone can help me with my problem. when I hit the a/c switch inside the car I get nothing. However if I send the a/c compressor clutch +12v it locks and blows out cold air. Anyone run into this sort of problem? A diode maybe? If so where in the harness is it? Its anywhere from 80 - 90 degrees every day here im dying , thanks for any kind of help!

Sounds like your pressure sensor is bad, or your a/c switch inside the car is bad. Do you have 12V at the pressure sensor? If you do, it's likely the pressure sensor. If not, it's either the a/c switch or maybe the WOT relay.

Thanks for the prompt replies guys. it was the pressure switch. now I got nice, cool air blowing into the passenger compartment!!!
