Ok, I got a few basic questions for all of you. They're pretty simple so there shouldn't be much problem with answering them. Anyway....

1. Anybody running 0w20 Mobil 1 oil in their stang? My car has 69k miles and it's in really good condition so I don't think there should be a problem with it. Oh yeah, and I bought this car from Ford and they performed the $400 60k mile tune up on it already so it should be in tip top shape. Anyway, is this oil to thin?

2. Anyone have any experience with a KN oil filter? Work ok? Better than Motorcraft?

3. I just bought a KN air filter and I've already taken off the silencer. My next step is to buy a Densecharger tb to MAF tube for $65. Does anyone have this combo with the filter and the air inlet tube? How much hp does it offer? I was originally going to get the KN FIPK 2 but it's too much for an intake.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry if this isn't the best English. I'm kinda in a hurry. Later.

between the motorcraft and K&N oil filter i would go for the motorcraft. The K&N is a little better but for the price difference its not worth it. Just never buy a fram filter...they are crap!!! Best filter IMHO is a Purolator filter.....just my 0.02

0W-20 is better for your car than 5W-20.

The first number is the cold-start viscosity, which you want to be as low as possible.

The second number is the viscosity after the car is warmed up, which should be 20 or 30.

Myself, I use either Amsoil 0W-30 or Mobil1 0W-30.

I will never take my Stang to a dealer again, and my Stang has had 38,000 trouble-free miles, so I'm not worried about the warrantee.
