A few quick questions

I'm kind of new here and just recently picked up an 89 vert for basically nothing. So i decided to do the motor and trans since i currently have the garage space.

So anyways i installed the motor and trans and i believe i have messed up where the clutch cable has gone into the fork on the bell housing. Does anyone have a picture of what this is supposed to look like completed?

Another question is does anyone have the dimensions of the starter bolts?

I haven't been able to find the starter bolt size yet, but I thought I'd pass this along until I can find something for you, or someone else chimes in.

Thank you very much for the quick reply and information. You have helped me out alot. Now if only i could find out the dimensions for those starter bolts i would be set.

Call up 50 resto 1-866-507-1848 they should know and should have them.

50 resto doesn't have those bolts listed on there site. and i doubt if you call them they'll tell what size they are knowing you can go to your local hardware store and pick the up for less that a 50-75 cents for the 2 bolts.

I went to autozone and napa and neither one of them had the dimensions or the bolts themselves available. I think im going to just start trying bolts :/

go to a junkyard and get a pair of bolts from a 5.0 or 4.0 or 3.8 or 3.0 (RWD) for the starter
