well im looking at a budget around 2 k
allready have lots of bolt ons, and new heads, and spray
about 310 wrhp 390 tq without spray

do you have a 351? cuz your not going to make that power on a bolt on 302 especially 390ft.. maybe that on spray.

and go with 4.10's, all the gay people go with 3.73's. and your NOT going to run out of gear with 4.10's, ive been 120mph in 4th before at 6400rpm.

What exactly is your parts list you have on the car now? i would guys you are more around 250hp 300ft lbs. With spray and sticky tires I dont think you should have a problem beating him.

If that car is swapped with an LS1 and the kid has money....you're in for some trouble. Guys in my car club are running 11's with bolt on LS1's and 9's with STOCK LS1 turbo cars. They are no joke. You better have a big bottle of spray and get good traction.

I run 3.73s, but there would be room for 4.10s, just not sure if I would benefit from them.

310/390 are some solid numbers to be guessing. I agree, 250/300 is a safer guess.

Also LT1s are not dogs or junk. Good mods and you have a fast car. Last I checked.

Go for tires. Do you have subframes?

wish i could, but there are alot and i mean alot of little things that need fixed before i can buy something like that, everything else i kinda alredy had and got deals form friends
