I have a friend with a 1991 LX, 2.3 Auto. Her trans is shot, and we've found a replacement from a 93 LX 2.3 Auto. My question is, will that trans bolt right up? I've read a lot of random tidbits talking about a 3 or 4 pin connector on these cars, but I'm still not sure what the year range is for one connector versus the other. If this 93 trans won't work, can I simply swap the solenoids from one to another?
