Ok, so I am finishing up the install of my Classic Auto Air AC on my 5.0 equipped coupe. I am using the stock 5.0 compressor with the CAA drier and pressure switch. The question is: How should this thing be wired up? I have a harness that goes from the compressor into my main engine harness. For the CAA kit I need to run a wire from the pressure switch to the compressor to engage the AC clutch. Should this go into the harness somewhere? Or, should I bypass the computer altogether? Has anyone else done this install? Help!
TIA,
Jim

Since no one else answered...

According to your kit/directions, does this wire start at your heater controls before going to the pressure switch and compressor? I'd guess it does because it seems that signal kicks on the compressor clutch but only if the pressure switch sees enough pressure (meaing, high pressure= closed circuit)...?

Also, I'd get some wiring diagrams for the 5.0.computer system and wire it in so the computers WOT cutout relay will kill the a/c when you mash the gas...

should go clutch - pressure switch - what ever turns the clutch on.

My CCA went inside to a temp sensor inside the unit then to a micro switch. then to key power.
