I have found in the past that sometimes an accelerator pedal sticking is actually the butterfly flap inside the throttle body. When you press the accelerator, the linkage/cables open the throttle body flap. If there is some deposits inside the throttle body, the flap will stick. Take off the air hose that leads from the air filter box to the throttle body (or just the part to get to the throttle body. Use some carb cleaner on a rag to reach inside and wipe it out. Open the butterfly while you are cleaning to get the deposits off of the edges of it too. Try this, unless you have a cable catching somewhere this should fix. Let us know.
