I did that on my install too.. hit the brake pedal with the negative off the battery.. started her up.. RPM needle went to 8000 rpm, speedo needle went to 160, then it took a couple of min to idle correctly and it adjusted.

great throttle response! One thing that bugs me, I had to put another spring for the throttle because it wouldnt retract all the way so i can feel both of the springs rub together when i put the gas pedal. Anyone know where I can find one of those springs that have the thinner spring inside of it that will fit?

ya disconecting the battery like that resets the computer, i had to do it when i was working on my cai and fergot to plug the maf back in
