I have been considering adding a shift light to my car. I have a mini autometer tach and want to add a shift light to the dash. Do the shift lights come compatable with the tach? and can they be added easily? Any questions and comments would be greatly appreciated.. thanks guys and gals

I bought a "ProForm" shift lite and it's the biggest piece of junk! It's "Made in China" so if I would of known that in advance I would not of wasted my money on it. All it would do is blink morse code at me all the time. And yes it was hooked up correctly. I then bought a "autometer" shift lite, the small diameter one, and it works good except it's hard to see during the day. You also have to by a lot of shift lite chips if you want to try different shift point settings. $25 a pop for a set of 5 chips. I mounted it to my steering column so its not quite in my "heads up" line of vision. :nice:

Yeah, i am not sure what one i want, i just wanted to know which ones will be compatable or not. I just need a lite so i can hit the gears at the right rpm at the track. I am going to a performance shop tonight to look at them. Any other suggestions? Thanks
