Adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

Just got a '93 2.3 N/A conv. about a month ago. Starting to mod it. Got my MSD wires, looking for a Ranger header, MSD coil packs next paycheck, gonna make Jmans CAI I saw linked on one of your threads(thanks guys!) and Accel 17lb/hr injectors, and gotta get a Ranger roller cam setup. But what about fuel pressure regs, my 2 previous Crown Vics had a similiar looking unit to what is on my car, so will a 5.0 FPR work, like an Aeromotive or BBK? Also does the aftermarket offer a good roller cam set for the 2.3 N/A? Thanks for the great info, I've been scanning it after work for the past few days!

as far as performance goes... I would port the head like crazy before I stick a cam in it. theres loads of power to be had in the D-port head... and it wouldnt hurt to have it milled to raise the compression up as well... figure some larger valves and a valve job, mill the head, a roller cam such as a ranger (stock grind) lunati, racerwalsh, or esslinger cam, fresh springs and valve seals, and then you should be good to go top end wise to a turbo or maybe even a safe 50-75 shot on there...

I would hold off on the regulator and the coils if your Ford ones are working.
The dual spark DIS is a wonderful system as it is, just add good plugs and wires.

As ka0tyk mentioned, get some air flow happening, with a cam too if you like.
These Fords run pig rich after 3 grand anyway.
Power is leaner, not richer
