AFR heads and MAC shorties...

I have MAC shorties and I was wondering if there were any fitment issues with the headers and the heads. I remember reading that TFS heads didn't work well with MAC headers but wasn't sure about AFR's.
Anyone running MAC headers and AFR 165 heads.

Both heads will work just fine with mac shorty's. Only problem is, since their used, reinstalling might be a pita b/c the tubes might have warped. Thats why some people stay away from seperate flanged headers. My single flanged used bbk LT's fit right on

Ditto that, please don't ruin a good set of heads with junk headers, or at least stud the exhaust holes. MAC headers are the absolute pits for fitment. Done way too many sets.

I've had 4 sets of them total and installed 1 other set, no problems. I had mac shorties on my 302 with my AFR 165's on my 302 again no problems, maybe the just send me the good stuff and the crap to everyone else. I should get my mac 3 inch cat back/pro-chamber anyday now.
