Well seems like forever since ive been here....sold my mid 11 second black/black 90 gt 13 years ago to pay for wifes engagement ring.....picked up a few cars since then but have always had my heart set on buying another fox....

Picked this 93 up with 27k original miles for 9k....5 speed all original. ..even has the air silencer in the fender...

Now the question....leave stock or add basic bolt ons? ....decisions decisions

Very nice cars! I'd put basic boltons the fox. Stuff that's easily swapped back if you want to maintain originality but a few things to make the car more enjoyable to you. Things like wheels/tires,cat back exhaust, etc.

Nice Fox as well as the other rides. Not every day you hear somebody getting rid of a Z06 to get an old 5.0. Congrats on a rare find.

Hopefully the wife is still around that you sold the car for 13 years ago.

Since you paid a reasonable premium for a low mileage unmolested car, keep it that way is my recommendation. It appears that you have other toys to make go fast mobiles.

I hate you.

lol. seriously. Drooling over the Shelby man. About the fox, we all know in about a week you are going to realize how slow it is, how poorly it handles and stops,,, and then it begins. I always say do what you want to the car unless you plan on having it as a DD. Ford made a gagillion of these things and guys that think they will be worth big bucks are going to be dissapointed. Just keep the stock parts in case you decide to ever sell or turn it back into stock. I was in the same boat 3 years ago, was out of it for 10 years after a divorce, found a 44k mile unmolested fox vert and swore I'd keep it stock. That lasted a week. Drove it as a DD for about 1 year and then modified it as I wanted. Sits in the garage now except for weekends, shows, and farting around.

Thanks guys- and yes....ordering 3.73s, subframes, pulleys, springs- maybe shorty headers (love CA lol) and a cat back .......that didnt last long! lol
What was amazing to me was how hard it was to find a nice fox body in CA- seriously cars at 150K-200K miles that were decent shape, guys were asking between 7K and 9K
There is one car for sale now with 10K miles for 27K.......pretty close to 65/66 coupe prices!

As far as the Z06- awesome car but just wasnt me if that makes sense.....always felt like it was someone elses car in my garage....with the fox body, just feel like Im at home.....tear drop : )
