1989 GT, stock 5.0, AOD (bleh...soon to be 5-speed) clean and no rust, just needs paint. The real reason i bought it is the FRPP M2300K Cobra 4-wheel disc setup, full Dugan Racing Trick One suspension (shocks/struts, springs, swaybars, rear control arms, etc) Flaming River power rack & the new bullitts/tires. $3500 brought her home. All i have to do is get a bumpsteer kit on it and get my buddy to do the body/paint and I will have a slick ride...now on to the pics....

Nice, Looks like a good deal. I'd lose the white gauges though, I think they look outta place in fox stand, IMO.
Any engine work done?

yeah not a bad ride for 3500 bucks...drives smooth and straight and handles like its on rails...AOD shifts perfectly too, way better than the 4R70W in my F150.

im not a fan of the white face gauges either but i can deal with them for awhile. no engine work...yet

i do wanna sell the GT taillights, i just need some LX units to replace them

tomorrow brings cleaning the interior and putting my spare GT wing on...this one has a chunk taken out of the pass side corner from a dude in a truck backing into it at some point in the past. lucky all he did was break the wing and no other damage. also gotta find out why one fog light is inop, they are brand new.

also...anyone have a fiberglass hood for sale? i really want a 95 cobra r style hood but a regular cowl or even a mach 1 will do...PM me if you do!

im not sure im a fan of the black bullitts, but we will see how it looks once painted. ive recently fallen in love with 98 cobras on a fox.

i am going to keep the factory scheme, but the blue will be 07 toyota camry blue ribbon metallic, over the factory titanium lower

I'm keeping this one, dont worry. Too good of a platform on this one to give up.

You can paint it for me if ya want, haha. I'm not looking foward to all the prep work before gettin it sprayed but it will save me some serious money.

and yeah it does handle and stop really nice...had to test the brakes tonight thanks to an old lady who pulled out in front of me while checking over her shoulder for oncoming traffic...almost lost it after only 2 days...bleh

the paint code is 7H - Bright Regatta Blue and there were 2824 GT hatchbacks built in 89 in this color.

looking great. that color is amazing when cleaned up right. just make sure you keep it that blue with the lower titanium accent. such a sick color. to me the carpet looks like it needs some help. and i work at a carwash and i can say that floormats help this allot,so they would be allot of help also. if you like the gauges you can take the back of the needle and color it a diff. color so you can see the needle over the gauge.

edit: its a personal prefrence thing, but im not big on clear corners either.

great looking car

yeah the whole interior is in good shape just needs a cleaning...the pass and rear seats are near mint but the drivers seat, carpet and door panels need to be cleaned...just 18 years have taken their toll on them

its going in for paint next week :-D i cant wait
