Aftermarket Catalytic Converters?

Who makes the highest flow aftermarket catalytic converters that are not much thicker than the downtubes? They also need to survive the engine being wide open for 30 minutes at a time. Any suggestions?

Wow, I didn't think this question was so hard. Okay, let me rephrase it. Who wants to sell me some high flow catalytic converters that can be welded into my downtubes after my shorty's? I've never has so much trouble trying to buy something.

that first question was just really oddly phrased I think its because you said "not much thicker than the downtubes" ?!

you're refering to the mid-pipe...another way of saying it...the midpipe (either X or H pipe) is the piece of the exhaust with the catalytic converters.


magnaflow and SLP make pretty good high flow cats from what i've heard. you can order them separately without having to buy the whole pipe.
