Anyone headed over to Clearview Albertsons this evening? I'm rolling over there to meet up with Kent (Ford Drag Team) and B.S. for a bit, and to show off the Vortech a little

people show up as early as 4pm, and just hang out...a lot of old customs and rods are there...i'll swing out around 6pm, but I only live about 10 minutes from there.

Was on my way to Aberdeen to trade in the cobra on the 06. And the motor dropped something. Started making a horrible rattling niose. Much like a jackhammer. So that added a few hours to the negotiations. Still got $1800 trade in on it though. And it is going to the junkyard according to the dealer. As for the 06. It is almost everything I wanted in the new car. I am back to enjoying driving my car. I've already put on nearly 200 miles.

Yeah I was kinda bummed that the cobra popped. The funny part was when it finally died at the dealer. The trip odometer read 666. Apparently if I wasn't going to own it. Noone will. Do you get down to the clearview show much. I should be there this saturday.
you should def come out and show it off! I won't be there this weekend....going to Sun Valley....but next weekend

I wouldn't have ordered it with the car. If I had been ordering one. The system has a few nice things about it. Like the 6 disc in dash changer. That is also MP3 capable. But the bass seems overly obnoxious. Even trying to turn it down. It still seems to be a tiny bit too much. With the "shaker" on. The bass muffs up the rest of the music. Don't get me wrong. I like bass. But wuub wuub wuub for bass notes. Just doesn't cut it. And there seems to be some kind of power drain if you leave the stereo on when you exit the car. Which is a problem Ford knows about on the 500. So I have to turn the volume all the way down. Then turn the stereo off. Otherwise when I get in the car. The clock has reset itself to 1200. And the stereo is at the end of the am stations. As if it just got power hooked to it. Odd thing is the presets are still in memory.
Sorry for the long review. But if you are going to make an informed decision. You should know everything.
