the specs from MM are good. i run the same caster, but a lot less camber, mostly for tire wear issues. i run about -.5 camber and 4.7caster on both sides with toe at factory. we do not have large road crowns here so thats not an issue.

did you tell the Sears tech that you have CC plates? not all of us know about them. and i can tell you that the alignment machine does NOT prompt to look for plates, it doesnt list is as an optional replacement on mustangs, it only gives the wedges for camber.

He knew, but he didnt know how to properly adjust them. He thought the negative camber was maxed out on the passenger side because they came close to a line in the engine compartment( not sure what line it is), when they were only touching the thick padding protecting the line. Plus they only want to go to factory ford specs. Not saying all Sears, or Les Schwab alignment techs are idiots, just these certain ones. Even though the computer doesnt detect cc plates, to me they look pretty easy to figure out if you know what your looking at.

they are easy to figure out. you can also run an 18mm cam bolt to get some extra camber range. they are cheap and work very well.

the stock plates SUCK! i have seen stock height cars that have never been wrecked that i cannot get into spec. camber plates should be required when you install springs. you MAY be able to install some springs and still use the factory plates, but they dont have half the adjustability of the MM plates!

Drilling the 4th hole is a pain so keep the drill bit lubed, other than that it is relatively easy, just follow the instructions

You might have to move the shims around a couple of times too, for the strut height

^instructions if they haven't provided you with a copy, it is in PDF format so you can print them out perfectly

ya drilling the 4th hole is the hardest part of the whole job. use a new drill bit of the most expensive material you cna afford. when i was installing them when i worked for a mustang shop i would have someone spray lube on the drill bit to keep it lubed.

what alignment rack? we have 2 Hunter DSP400s at my work. the only thing i dont like about them is the insanely slow caster sweeps.
