I ask this question every now and then, my stang is ready to hit a "mile"stone so i thought i would ask for input. Sometime this week my car will go over 250,000 miles. What kind of miles does everyone else have? I have never had the heads off of it.

Keep changing the oil and keep it tuned up and it'll keep going and going. The Ford 302HO engine is a very reliable engine.

225k on mine but i decided to pull it out to put my 306 in i was wondering how long it would of went... i know someone with a lincon mark8 that has over 500,000 miles on it

damn, crazy ammounts of miles. i've got around 202000 on mine, stock.

need to do crazy ammounts of oil changes unfortunately, because my oil is black like an hour after i change it.

last owner stopped caring aftera while it seems.

They are good engines. Its also bc they dont have to rev high stock to het the power. Mine went 4200 and out of steam - shift IIRC, lol.
