Alum Radiator in 67 w/5.0 What's good?

If you aren't concerned with original looks, go cross flow, and as big as you can fit. I installed a Griffin "Musclecar series" '68 big block radiator in the car below (using a '67 radiator support & mounting hardware). Not much room for a fan with the serpentine setup. There is info on this, and the electric fan shroud setup I installed, on the wesite in the signature.

I think mine was 400 bucks from Mustangs Unlimited. They have some that arent as much. Take a look at what they have.
Mine is actually for a 5.0 swap so the hose connections are on the correct side for my water pump setup. I basically have a 5.0 swap except for the EFI.
Those Summit brand ones should be within your budget. I have not heard any complaints about them.

Unfortunately the $295 direct fit Summit radiators are only available for '65-66 Mustangs. It will work in a '67-68 with the right brackets/supports, but does not take advantage of the extra space available in the radiator support.
There is a $200.00 AFCO radiator that fits pretty nice, and works well. You'll need to fab up some brackets. And you may have to "custom fit" a lower hose. Or possibly the stock lower hose from a 5.0 will work. the lower neck is on a bit of an angle compared to a stock 5.0.

Here's a pick of a Northern Radiator I bought off summit in my 68. It measures ~27" inches wide and 19" tall and fits nicely between the frame rails.

That looks like a good fit. It looks cool since it almost looks OEM.

That looks like one of the "universal" crossflows that fit the Fox3 cars. I think I still have one sitting around somewhere that used to be in an '89GT. It would take a pretty serious engine to overpower one of those.

no I've not, the one we bough fit into a 68 camaro. breaking in the engine in a shop with just one stand fan, heat never became an issue. Little fab work with ours was needed, just needed to cut the brackets on the bottom to make them fit.
