Am I over-reacting?? I think this guy's a thief.

About three weeks ago I let "Kerpal" borrow my catted h-pipe. And, after several calls from various #'s, a couple of voicemails, an email or two, AND a PREVIOUS post on stangnet... I still haven't gotten back my F-ing exhaust. I did managed to get a hold of him and talk to him on Thanksgiving, telling him I absolutely HAD to have it this week. Still no pipe. Then, I looked up some of his postings on Stangnet and it seems he's selling an off-road pipe. Hmmmm... So is he keeping mine?? AND the same ad is on Craigslist.

So, I guess my next step is going to the police station and claiming it to be stolen. (He obviously doesn't have any intent on returning it).

Have any of you ran into this problem with this particular guy?? I know everything about him, except where he lives, which I'm sure the police could find easily, and all our coversations were for the most part documented here on SN. I have witnesses who were at the shop the day I was working when he picked it up. It's unfortunate that he hasn't even CALLED me to say, "Hey, I've been busy..." or SOMETHING!!! I'd say I've been pretty laid back.

Well, sucks to be this guy. He's pissed off the wrong girl.

I'm sure he'll b*tch about me "harrassing" him, but I guess calling EVERY DAY just isn't enough. Funny thing is, if you click on his link under his stangnet name, there's a link to CarDomain with his car and all the things he plans on doing to it. One being: installing headers and a CATTED pipe. Guess he's just one step closer now.

Sounds like a looser to me, you were nice enough to help him out and now he keeps flaking on you , thats a bunch of **** Go get him girl !!!! Your doing the wright thing just let the police handle it, dont take the law into your own hands even though it would be much more enjoyable

HAHA Ya, if only I were the law.... Oh well, I guess being a stalker is good enough for now. jk I mean, how STUPID to think he would get away. He's too 'public". Plus, I FOUND HIS MYSPACE!! . (Ok, I just had to throw that in).

I'm almost wondering if he doesn't have internet??? I was looking at some girl's page (looked like his sister) and she said she didn't have the internet, just a myspace. So maybe they don't get online much. Still. That's no excuse, but that would explain him not replying to emails/posts.

But don't harrass him. That's the last thing I need him saying "Some girl from Blue Oval has been harrassing me". Great.... LOL

Yes this is bad, he should answer the damn phone or call back. Or atleast tell you to get F'd! The police will go over ask him for it he say's huh????? They leave your still F'd, most likely for a petty thing like this there is nothing they will do. Or with steves pull with the law maybe he should contact some of his buddies? Take him to small claims court? Why do you need it back this/last week? good luck! peace

Ummm.. I want it back because it's MINE!!! And i was supossed to have it back almost three weeks. ago. If he's still driving with it on, which I'm almost 100% certain he IS (I've done a little extra research), then he's ruining the cats! He's messed with the wrong person; I don't let people walk over me.

No i totally agree with you! It's yours and you deserve it back! I just thought you had to get your car threw deq or something. I would still have steve have his law inforcement buddies help ya out tho. peace
