Hello,

I recently purchased a 1999 V6 Mustang and one of the first things I did was to swap the stock radio out for the Clarion I had in my old car. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a amplifier bypass harness for my car and I know I'm not getting the sound clarity I could be. I would really like to avoid cutting up the factory wiring so I was wondering if there was anyone that offered a bypass harness for my car.

My car is a '99 with the factory amplifier located underneath the radio, and it does not have the Mach 460 system.

Might be handy to post the model numbers of the replacement radio.

How about some pictures. I was not aware there was a separate amp in a stock application that was not a Mach system.

The radio in question is a Clarion CZ309 but I'm just looking for a harness the will plug into the factory wiring leaving the amplifier so the radio itself doesn't really matter.

The following are pictures of the radio and amp beneath it, and of the plug going from the amp to the speakers.

Hope this information came in handy. I was just browsing and came across your post and thought i'd sign up just to help you out cuz i know how it feels. What you need is a Ford/Mazda Speaker Receiver Harness which you might be able to find at your local part store or best buy store or
Ford/Mazda Receiver Wire Harness For select models with factory amplifier at Crutchfield.com

all you need is the black harness feel free for additional info

I was just browsing through LMR's site and stumbled across the harness I need by chance. I don't know why it didn't come up in any of my search results but for those who are interested I'll put the link below.
