an update on the kid's deadbeat dad....

ok, as most of you know i'm foster caring my sister's 3 kids....i've had them for 19months....their mom(my sister) is in jail and looking at around 7 yrs for doing stupid stuff and had her rights terminated over a yr ago, but the father's right haven't been terminated yet....most judges give the parents 15 months max and he's been given 24 months....well anyway he had court last week and the judge extended it until may(hence the 24 months)....what he does is nothing until the last month, then he tries to get everything done at the last moment and claim he didn't have enough time(by the way he's suppose to pay and take random drug test, take a pshyc evaluation and pay for it, parenting classes which the state pays for, and see a counciler which the state also pays for)....well on the this last court date the judge asked him why he hadn't done anything except for his parenting classes and the father told the judge that the type of work he does is seasonal (he works for his uncles back-hole company digging ditches) and with the weather like it is he's not working(my thought is that if your not working how are you going to raise 3 kids ) so the judge has had it...he has ordered that the state pay for everything to give him no more excuses(i don't think thats right, why should we have to pay for his requirments because he's to f***ing lazy to get another job ) well anyway, as you can see its been kind of stressful....also the father has only seen the kids 1 time in a year and it was through his parenting classes(it required to complete his classes), but hasn't been taking or passing the random drug test when he's told to...

get this i just got off the phone with dhs, he apparently just woke up(must be nice) and had a dream that the kids are in danger.....and wanted them to call and see if the kids are ok....i was like i guess he's coming down from the drugs.....

yep, crazy.....
