My GT doesnt get built for another 10 days. And I was told it wasnt going to be delivered until the first or second week of december. But, here's what makes that torture. The guy I sold my BMW to picked it up today. So, from now until my car comes Im without a car. My dad told me I can drive his '90 F-250 But, I have to. The things you have to go thru to get what you want.

But, these next few weeks are going to be pure hell for me.

Tough it out a little longer. Nice Christmas present, by the way. I couldn't wait, myself. I grabbed an '04 GT to pacify my SOTP itch (not rhoids, either). My wife says I'm the most impatient person she has ever met, lol.

Whats wrong with the f-250

It has a 460 with over 250k and can barely get out of a snails way. Its got a bad torque converter. Its a extended cab long bed truck. So, it cant really be parked anywhere. Brakes suck. Its just a worn out old truck.

I ordered a 05 torch red gt (premium) almost a month ago no one can tell me when it's being built or delivered or anything definate. How come I can order pictures online and they can tell me when to the min. almost they will be delivered, but I oreder a $28,000 car and no-one knows untill it shows up in the lot? Anybody know how to figure out when to expect my car?

At least you HAVE a build date for your car.
I ordered my car on October 20, and as of today (November 21) all Ford tells me is Temp Delay.
My dealer told me when I placed the order the car would be here in six weeks, which would mean early to mid December, but if I don't get a build date soon I figure to see the car in January at the earliest

that sounds horrible. You sold your BMW to buy a brand new mustand and it's going to be a whole 2 weeks without a car. Pardon me if I don't shed a tear, but the tranny in my 88 mustang just went out without warning, and I am sure it will be at least 2 weeks before I can drive it again. I am RELIEVED that I will get to drive the family 90 aerostar, so quite your bitchin'.
