another exhaust question

ok, im kinda a noob to 4.6 motors and the whole mustang thing and i just got an 04 GT and im planning on getting an exhaust for it. I plan on getting an X-pipe for it but thats where my question is, is there any significant power/torque difference between a catted X-pipe and a catless X-pipe? heres the setup im planning on doing, stock manifolds to a pypes catted or uncatted X-pipe,with a bassani catback.

Catless will open up the most, but I dont think there is a huge difference between a good hi-flowing catted X and a catless X.

If you like louder exhaust, get a catless X. If you have to pass emissions testing than you might want to get a catted X, unless you feel like swapping your stock midpipe back on when its time to go for an inspection.

A catless X and the Bassani's will melt your heart it sounds so good.

I would only get catless if emissions are not a problem. SLP sells a X that has bolt on cats so you can switch between catless and catted.
