Another Heater Core Question (accumulator?)

I am changing out the Heator Core in my 94 GT. I have everything out except for the accumulator. I can actually see the heator core, but I can't the top off because the whole casing wont come down enough to open it. I noticed that it was the accumulator lines going into the evaporator that was keeping the casing from coming out. Is there anyway can get around from having to remove the accumulator to get out my heator core? I dont want to have to buy and replace the accumulator too. Its also a pain in the ass to get those lines out. Please help!

i was almost to that point!!! but its out and changed, just have to put it all back together.
